映画音楽作曲家・プロデューサーユニット

シリーズ合計5770万本を売上げたゲーム「メタルギアソリッド」シリーズでタッグを組み共同作曲を行なったのち、フィルム・スコアリング作曲技法を使い、映像や物語にシンクロする音楽作りと作品に相応しい音響作りを求め続け、2013年にユニットを結成し東京、ロサンゼルス、シアトルにて活動開始。サウンドトラックに特化した音楽プロダクション「FILM SCORE LLC」を設立。現在60を超える映像作品に2000曲以上の楽曲を提供している。 ゲーム音楽から映画、アニメーション、マルチメディアにも活動の幅を広げ、作曲、オーケストレーション、シンセシス、マニュピレーション、プログラミング、オーケストラの海外レコーディング、そしてアトモスや立体音響などのサラウンドミキシングとエンジニアリングに至るまで、劇伴としての理想的なクリエイティブを実現するため、現在映画音楽の第一線で活躍する映画音楽作曲家ハンス・ジマーの専属エンジニア、アラン・マイヤーソン（代表作：『DUNE』『インセプション』『ダンケルク』）や、 ロンドンのアビー・ロード・スタジオのチーフエンジニアから独立して活動しているピーター・コビン（代表作：『ロード・オブ・ザ・リング』『アベンジャーズ』『ファンタスティックビースト』シリーズなど）らのスタッフに協力を得て、音楽プロダクション全体を二人で指揮している。 数多くロサンゼルス、ロンドン、プラハ、ウィーンの楽団と共に海外レコーディングを重ねており、オーケストラを主体とした作品作りを主とし、劇場音響やアトモスに特化した電子的な音響デザインとオーケストラを組み合わせたハイブリッドな音楽を展開する中、作品がもつ呼吸や空気感など、音のない部分にフォーカスした無のデザインを配置することで音がもつ演出力を高めるなど、創造的で細やかなスコアリングが映像と音楽の相乗効果によりこだわりを持つファン層から指示を得ている。 マイクロソフトのゲーム「Halo 5」のサントラでは初登場で全米ビルボードのサウンドトラックTOP2入りを果たし、ゴールデンリール賞(MPSE)の長編外国語映画部門音響編集賞や、グローバル・ミュージック・アワードや、英国アカデミー賞ゲーム部門音楽賞など世界の様々な音楽賞を受賞している。

Film Score Composer ＆ Producer Unit

NOBUKO TODA and KAZUMA JINNOUCHI is an award-winning music composition and production team providing evocative, emotionally engaging scores for film, television and games by incorporating diverse musical styles that combines orchestral, acoustic, electronic genres and musical sound design that enhances the storytelling.
Since early 2000’s, the duo has worked on dozens of projects with film and game directors such as Kenji Kamiyama, Shinji Aramaki, and Hideo Kojima. Their work includes the recent anime series Star Wars Visions: The Ninth Jedi on Disney+, Netflix’s Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045, ULTRAMAN, and RWBY: The Ice Queendom. Their video game score work includes Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriot, Marvel’s Iron Man VR and BAFTA-nominated Halo 5: Guardians.
Toda and Jinnouchi graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2002, majoring in Films Scoring and Contemporary Writing and Production, then soon joined Tokyo-based video game studio Kojima Productions Äi0as their in-house music composers. After years of collaboration with a variety of creative talents and unique experience as in-house composer at Microsoft and Konami, the duo continues to be in high demand for their understanding of music production for both linear and interactive media. Over the last two decades, the duo has received numerous awards and honors, including BAFTA Games Award, NAVGTR Awards, Global Music Award, and MPSE Golden Reel Award.
